This is an external battery pack which uses a Lithium-Ion (Li-Ion) battery to power a device and charge it at the same time. It can be plugged into the power socket of your device just like its normal power adaptor, this pack would be suitable for the following -

- To dramatically increase the run time of your player while away from a power source
- To charge 100s of devices from one charger.
- If you forget to charge the internal battery or if it drains while not in use, just attach the pack when you need it.
- If your device is more than a year old, and the internal battery no longer holds as much charge as it used to.
- Instead of a car charger, which are often 'unshielded' so they pick up electrical interference and add noise to your music when using your device.
- If your power adaptor no longer works, and you need a replacement.
- If you would like to charge your device from a PC's USB Socket.

How does it work?

Use the cable supplied to charge the battery pack from a USB socket or AC adaptor. Then, connect your device to the battery pack and charge it up where ever you are.

How much battery life will it provide?

This depends on which device you are using it with. On average, you can expect to be able to fully charge a mobile phone four times, an iPhone twice, an iPod classic four times (100+ hours extra audio playback), other mp3 players 2-4 times, and video players once. Like our AA pack, this can be kept in storage for several months and will be ready to use straight away.

Using the Retractable USB cable

To extend the cable, plug the cable into a USB socket, and extend to the required length by pulling the other end of the cable, the maximum length is 80cm. To retract the cable extend the cable by a small amount, and release. The cable will be pulled back into its housing.

Compatible devices

Since the pack features a USB socket, it can charge the thousands of devices which charge over USB.
