The product is made up of two parts, a UK wall socket to USB Charger, and our retractable USB Charger as sold seperately. The wall charger features two standard USB sockets, and so can charge devices which charge over USB. Adding the USB Charger cable increases the range of compatible devices even further.

Features

High current output - Our charger can provide upto 2 Amps (2A, 10W) of current, this meets or exceeds the specification of original manufacturers wall chargers supplied with your device, ensuring your device can be charged at full speed. The majority of 3rd party chargers available online or on the high street only output upto 1A or 0.5A, and some only upto 0.3A. These may result in slower charging, and are more likely to overheat and malfunction as they are constantly outputting at full capacity.

Multi function - Not only can you charge your devices from a wall socket, the detachable USB cable also allows you to charge you device from any USB socket.

Tidy and Safe - Our retractable cable extends in small steps upto 80cm to prevent dangerous and unsightly excess cable. When not in use, the cable retracts fully into its casing for convenient storage. Many devices are supported by this cable, so you can replace many chargers with just one.

Dual Output - To cater for the growing number of portable devices, the USB Wall Charger features two USB sockets. So you can charge your mobile phone and iPod simultaneously, or our USB Li-Ion Battery Pack and a PDA, a USB Hub and a portable video player, or any combination of two compatible devices.

Future Proof - Most portable devices coming onto the market can be charged from a USB socket. Our adaptor features standard USB sockets, so is compatible with a wide range of devices.

Globe Trotting - Designed for use in the UK, the USB Wall Charger fits straight into the UK 3 pin wall socket. Its also double earthed and accepts an input of 100-240V AC, so can be safely used anywhere in the world with the appropriate travel adaptor.

Using the Retractable USB cable

To extend the cable, plug the cable into a USB socket on the Wall Charger, and extend to the required length by pulling the other end of the cable. Do not pull using the middle 'round' section of the cable. To retract the cable extend the cable by a small amount, and release. The cable will be pulled back into its housing.

Compatible devices

Since the wall charger features a USB socket, it can charge the thousands of devices which charge over USB. Using our retractable USB Charger cable together with its three interchangeable tips extends the range of devices even further, allowing you to power many phones, PDAs, digital cameras, GPS navigators and mp3/video players:
